NL # 36 – Trust. Constructive Criticism. What Do You Believe About You?
Thought #1 – Trust.
If you have a difficult time trusting because of an experience that caused you to lose hope in people, I get it.
But how is a lack of trust benefiting you? Doesn’t it cause a lot of anxiety and fear because you are constantly looking over your shoulder and thinking that someone is out to get you?
Isn’t it exhausting?
You have another choice. Reflect on the times that you interacted with a trustworthy friend or relative. Embrace that feeling, examine your boundaries or set up boundaries and allow yourself to trust again.
Thought #2 – Constructive Criticism.
No one likes to be criticized, but as a leader, using constructive feedback is one of the ways you can improve your leadership skills. Pay attention to the constructive criticism you receive. Use it to fill in the gaps in your leadership and watch it unlock the wisdom you will gain by using it to become a better leader.
Thought #3 – What Do You Believe About You?
Do you believe in yourself? Do you believe that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to do? Do you feel like an imposter in your current position?
If you are having a challenge believing in your potential, borrow the belief I have in you. I believe you can accomplish anything you want. I believe that you will be successful. I believe you have the ability to lead your team. I believe your business will be a success.
I believe in you!
