NL # 18 – Why Your Self-talk Matters. How to Be More Present. Boost Your Productivity.
Thought #1 –Why Your Self-talk Matters.
Words can make you feel alive, put a spring in your step or make you feel as if you can conquer the world. But they can also discourage, destroy, or push you over the edge to self–destruction.
So, keep your self-talk in check and speak kind, compassionate, uplifting, positive words to yourself. It will make a difference.
How?
Your attitude will be more positive, your view of life will be more optimistic, and you will experience better physical and mental health, increased energy, and more positive relationships.
Thought #2 – How to Be More Present.
Simply, put your phone away and make eye contact.
Thought #3 – Boost Your Productivity.
- Set a goal
- Create a plan
- Set a date
- Create tasks for the goal
- Work on the tasks every day
- Get an accountability partner
- Reward yourself each time you accomplish a task
- Once the goal is achieved, set a new goal and go through the steps again
Quote for the Week
