NL # 52 – Identity. How to Handle Frustration. Count Your Blessings.

Thought #1 – Identity.

Do you know who you are and what you stand for? If you are having a tough time answering these questions you are not alone. It takes most of us a while to know who we really are and to understand what makes us tick. If you find yourself in this situation, here are some ways that may help you get to know yourself better.

Spend time exploring your likes and dislikes. Dig deep into understanding your beliefs. Talk to your family and your closest friends and ask them to describe the type of person you are. Then spend some time contemplating what you have learned so you can better understand the real you.

Thought #2 – How to Handle Frustration.

You’ll get frustrated. So, it is important that you know how to handle it. Take a note of the things that irritate you. Explore why you become frustrated when you are exposed to them. Recognize them when they come. If possible, step away, count to ten, and do whatever it takes not to be reactive.

Thought #3 – Count your Blessings.

The things you take for granted may just be what someone else needs to survive. Be grateful for what you have and use them to serve others.

Quote for the Week
